Tabitha’s Terrifically Tough Tooth
Author: Charlotte Middleton
Tabitha has a loose tooth. Her dad says that soon she'll get a visit from the Tooth Fairy, but there's just one problem. Her tooth won't budge any farther. She has tried everything to make it come out, from bouncing on a trampoline to putting on music and dancing around the room. But it seems that nothing will dislodge her terrifically tough tooth. This is a warm and witty story that will make children smile a big toothy (or toothless!) grin as they identify with this familiar rite of passage.
Lucky Socks
Author: Carrie Weston
Kevin's week couldn't get any more unlucky: his buttons keep popping off his shirt, his bicycle tyre goes flat, his beetle escapes from its bug jar and there's cabbage stew for lunch! Then, on Friday, Kevin puts on his yellow socks and things take a radically different turn. He's chosen to be the star in the school play, Billy Bennet invites him to his house to build a den, and his ball doesn't go over the garden fence, once! Kevin is sure his luck has changed, but then, on the morning of school sports day, Kevin can't find those lucky yellow socks anywhere ...A wonderfully humorous story that will strike a chord with children and adults alike! Made With Love

What did I eat when I was inside Mum? The conversational text, clear explanations and child-friendly artwork aim to make this a helpful book for all curious children and their parents. Enrico Starts School
Author: Charlotte Middleton
Review from Amazon: This is a super read for young children. As a classroom teacher I found it engaged my class and they loved to look at the vivid illustrations. The use of annotation of the pictures was a great bonus and was a particulalry useful resource during the literacy hour, so much so that I have shared it with my colleagues. The story is appropiate for children throughout the early years and Key Stage One although I am sure older children would get enjoyment from it too. Highly recommended!
Not Old Enough

Monster Pet
Author: Angela McAllister
Jackson has always wanted a pet. A pet that's big and wild and exciting. Imagine, then, his disappointment when Dad brings home...a hamster. Jackson names his new pet 'Monster' in an attempt to turn his little bundle of fluff into the outrageous animal he really wants. He's frustrated that Monster won't fetch sticks or climb trees. In fact Jackson soon loses interest altogether in caring for his hamster until a surreal sequence of events shows him the error of his ways! Angela McAllister's funny cautionary tale is perfectly matched by Charlotte Middleton's witty illustrations. Together they deliver - with supreme lightness of touch - an important message about the responsibilities and rewards of owning a pet.

Nobody seems to care about him any more. Then one night, Pequito isn't in his sleeping basket. Dudley's glad, but for some reason he can't get back to sleep. What's happened to Pequito?
